Understanding OSHA Training
OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) offers two main outreach training programs designed to teach workers about workplace safety hazards and their rights under OSHA law. These programs are available for both Construction and General Industry sectors.
The training covers recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. Upon completion, workers receive a DOL card (Department of Labor) indicating they've completed the training.
